Blog

Well it has been a long time! We have finally moved in to our new home and gotten settled. More importantly, I now have a room of my very own dedicated to my art. Yay me! I have been painting with pastels exclusively for the past 7 years that it has been so nice to get back to painting with oils. Although I have had a few practice pieces, this is the first that I am putting out there for the world to see. It was inspired by a photograph taken by a dear friend who lives in Pennsylvania. Although I love my desert sceneries, I sometimes miss the views from my old state.

I really love the snow covered pines and the colors of the morning sky. I hope you do as well.
